Php 6.8M worth of suspected shabu seized in Talakag

A joint team composed of local police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Regional Office 10 operatives seized suspected shabu weighing about one kilogram in a buy-bust operation at corner Fortich and Noble Streets in Brgy. 3, Talakag, Bukidnon.

In his report, Talakag municipal police chief Major Dennis Rowell B. Flores said that the suspected shabu with an estimated market value of Php 6.8 million was confiscated from the four male suspects at around 12:30 PM on August 14.

He identified the suspects as Saanoding Bato y Dima, a high-value target individual, 29, single, a resident of Brgy. Ilian, Mulondo, Lanao Del Sur, Ebrahim Mamalo y Sangkaan, 25, single, driver, a resident of Brgy. Gilupa, Mulondo, Lanao Del Sur, Renaldo Salva y Songkit, 28, single, a resident of Mati, Claveria, Misamis Oriental and Jessiean Bagas y Olita, 27, single and a resident of Zone 4, Upper Bulua, Cagayan de Oro City.

The arrested suspects were brought to the Police Regional Special Operations Unit-10 (RSOU-10) at Camp 1Lt. Vicente G. Alagar in Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro City pending the filing of charges. Also seized were the vehicles used by the suspects, a Suzuki Ertiga color white bearing plate number KAB 6919 and Toyota Tamaraw FX color maroon bearing plate number UFM 865.
