In celebration of the 53rd Anlaw Ta Sumilao (53rd Araw ng Sumilao), Bukidnon, a live band concert will be held tomorrow, Friday, July 3, 2009, 7 PM at the Kisolon Gym, Municipality of Sumilao, Bukidnon.

Dubbed “SAN MIG ROCK ‘N REGGAE,” the event will be jointly sponsored by San Miguel Brewery, Inc. (San Miguel Beer) and San Miguel Foods, Inc. This Araw ng Sumilao 2009 event will also be organized by ASTERISK Events and Communications.

The event will feature Kitaotao-based reggae band NATIVE IN TOWN and a Cagayan de Oro City-based band.

Native In Town is best known for their infectious reggae beats, reggae and ska sounds as well as cheery personalities on stage. Led by its vocalist Jason, this band has been performing in various bars in CDO and in major events around Mindanao. Native In Town bagged the third prize in this year’s Kaamulan Jam 2009.

Freebies and fun prizes will be given away during the show.
