Malaybalay Treasurer exceeds tax collection target
The City Treasurer’s Office of Malaybalay City has been recognized after exceeding its 2025 Real Property Tax (RPT) collection target. The Malaybalay Treasurer collected more than Php 67.9 million against a goal of Php 65.7 million, achieving a 103% collection efficiency rate.
The recognition was presented during an awarding ceremony held on April 24, 2026 in Malaybalay City. The certificate was signed by the Provincial Governor and the Provincial Treasurer.
Official figures show that the City Treasurer’s Office collected Php 67,901,838.90 in RPT receipts for 2025, surpassing the target of Php 65,706,853.36 by more than Php 2.1 million. The 103% efficiency rating places Malaybalay City among the top-performing local government units in Bukidnon in terms of tax revenue compliance.
