Senior Supt. Rustom Duran is new Bukidnon police director

BUKIDNON NEWS | BUKIDNON ONLINE | BUKIDNON – The Province of Bukidnon has a new provincial police director in the person of Senior Superintendent Rustom Duran.

Senior Supt. Rustom Duran is the new Bukidnon provincial PNP director. He was chosen through secret balloting participated in by the various city and municipal police chiefs in the province.

Duran is a native of Malaybalay City. He used to attend classes at Bukidnon National High School. BNHS has even put up a tarp congratulating him. The tarp can be found hung at the BNHS gate along Fortich Street, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.

A press release from the Philippine National Police headquarters in Manila says that Duran used to be assigned at the Regional Police Community Relations Division. He also used to serve as provincial police director of Camiguin, Mindanao.

The new Bukidnon police chief is set to face a lot of concerns in the province.

Some of these include the recent attack at a mining site in Impasugong, Bukidnon.

Another is the burning of equipment in Valencia City, allegedly the work of rebels.
