‘Upgraded’ Bukidnon blood center now open

The Province of Bukidnon finally has its first-ever blood center. The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) recently inaugurated the new blood center, which has 4 state-of-the-art blood refrigeration units that can hold up to 500 bags of different types of blood.

The new Bukidnon blood center, worth over Php 4 Million, also has machines for blood testing and laboratory equipment capable of processing different blood components, such as red blood cells, plasma, and platelets.

Other Red Cross blood banks can be found in Davao City, Cotabato City-Maguindanao, Iligan City, Misamis Oriental-Cagayan De Oro, General Santos City, South Cotabato, and Zamboanga.
