A few days ago, a deadly landslide took place in Sitio Hangaron, Barangay Lumbayao, Valencia City, Bukidnon. Not only were there victims from the said barangay but there were also victims from nearby Barangay Tongan Tongan. The list of the Bukidnon landslide victims can be found here. As of press time, a total of 6 bodies have reportedly been recovered from the site.

Here are some of the photos taken at the area where the Bukidnon landslide took place. We also gave a donation to the husband of one of the victims, who happens to be a friend of my brother’s and my cousin’s. We fervently hope that the families of the victims will continue to have strength and belief in the Lord especially during this very difficult time.
