NPA explosives factory found in Malaybalay City barangay

MALAYBALAY CITY | BUKIDNON NEWS – Authorities reportedly found an explosives factory allegedly owned by rebels in a barangay in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon. Malaybalay City is Bukidnon’s capital.

Members of the army reportedly discovered the New People’s Army-run explosives factory in Barangay St. Peter, Malaybalay City.

Bukidnon Online confirmed this with the Army’s 4th Infantry Division spokesperson Michele Anayron. Anayron told Bukidnon Online via text message that the 8th Battalion found the factory last week.

Anayron said that among those retrieved were 11 anti-personnel mines, around 25 liters of gasoline, 14 sticks of superdyne explosives premium and roughly 15 meters of detonating chord.

Reports also added that an abandoned NPA camp was found within the perimeter of the said explosives factory.
