MALAYBALAY CITY | BUKIDNON NEWS | CRIME | MALAYBALAY NEWS – A 20-year old female sustained 20 stab wounds while her companion, a male and allegedly her boyfriend, also got injured after they reportedly ran after two male suspects who stole their wallets and mobile phones.

Mirasol Gabriel, single, a resident of Barangay 9, Malaybalay City eventually died. Her companion, a certain Val Creame Pabillaran Carriaga, 33, married, and a resident of Barangay 8, was rushed to the Bukidnon Medical Center after the stabbing incident which took place along Sanchez Street.

Gabriel and Carriage reportedly just came from a nearby KTV bar when the suspects held them both up.

A knife believed to have been used to commit the crime was found a few meters away from Gabriel’s body.

It may be interesting to note that Sanchez Street is just a few blocks away from the city police station.
