Ex Bukidnon rebels get Php 2.1 Million E-CLIP benefits

A total of Php 2,101,000.00 benefits under the Enhanced-Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP) have been released to 55 ex-rebels from Bukidnon.

In a ceremonial awarding event held at Kaamulan Folk Arts Theatre, Kaamulan Park, Malaybalay City on Feb. 3, 2021, 55 former rebels received Php 15,000.00 each as Immediate Assistance with a total fund of
Php 825,000.00.

Each of the 22 from amongst of the 55 also received Livelihood Assistance with a total amount of Php 1,100,000.00.

Seven of them also received a total of Php 176,000.00 as Firearms Remuneration at different amounts depending on the serviceability of their turned over firearm.

Meanwhile, two army Battalions under the 403rd Brigade received a total of Php 177,000.00 as “Reintegration Assistance.”

Glenda Hope A. Beley, E-CLIP focal person in Bukidnon, disclosed that the release of E-CLIP benefits is the first for 2021.

She clarified that Reintegration Assistance is support for the receiving unit to defray the subsistence (meals) cost of FRs while in the custody of the receiving unit, and other incidental expenses that may be incurred while processing the Joint AFP-PNP Intelligence Committee certification.
