Even Valenzuela City mayor thinks Bukidnon roads are crap
Remember our previous post about how traveling from Cagayan de Oro to Bukidnon or Davao City to Bukidnon is such a pain in the neck these days? That article about how traveling Sayre Highway Bukidnon is a major pain in the ass drew a couple of reactions (thank you so much to all those who left comments!) and until now, our stand remains: if you can avoid traveling Sayre Highway, then please, for the love of God, please do!
Interestingly, we got wind of another person’s reaction as to the absolutely crappy Bukidnon roads and this reaction is no less from the City Mayor of Valenzuela in Luzon.
Via his Twitter account, Valenzuela City Mayor Sherwin Gatchalian described the Bukidnon roads this way:
“Roads going to Bukidnon needs a lot of repair. DPWH should invest heavily in this food producing province.”
The young Valenzuela City mayor was in Bukidnon recently for a gathering.
We can’t help but wonder if Mayor Sherwin Gatchalian’s comment about our crappy roads can help hasten the road repair works somehow. Will there also be other city mayors and personalities who will soon comment about our crappy Bukidnon roads?
And when oh when will these road repair works ever be completed?!
