A priest in the Province of Bukidnon has been shot dead. Fr. Rene “Neb” Regalado was shot Sunday, January 24, 2021, at around 7:30 PM. The crime happened at Pal-ing, Patpat, Malaybalay City.

According to an online post made by DXDB Radyo Bandilyo, Fr. Regalado was riding a vehicle. There were no damages to the vehicle and it also cannot be determined yet if it was an ambush or not.

Authorities are said to be investigating the motive of the shooting.
