British bioethanol developer to build 15MW power plant in Bukidnon

BUKIDNON NEWS | KIBAWE – A British firm has reportedly announced its plans of building a 15 megawatt (MW) power plant in Kibawe, Bukidnon.

Bronzeoak Ltd. will build a total of 30 megawatt ethanol-based power plants in both Bukidnon and Tarlac. These co-generation power facilities will be integrated to a 40 million-liter ethanol processing plant, reports said.

The firm’s Philippines treasurer, Don Dia, said that they expect to spend some $100 million or approximately P4.5 billion to P5 billion for the projects.

Hopefully, this development will mean more jobs not only for the people of Kibawe but for other residents in the third district (Southern Bukidnon).

Read more about Bronzeoak in their official website. They have a link for employment opportunities – no contents yet but I reckon job openings will soon be posted there.
