Arms cache discovered in rebel camp in Malaybalay City

An arms cache allegedly owned by members of the New People’s Army (NPA) was recently discovered here in the Province of Bukidnon. Reports say that the arms cache was found early morning Saturday at an already abandoned NPA camp in Barangay Busdi, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.

Army spokesperson Lt. Col. Arnulfo Burgos said that the arms camp housed 3 M16 assault rifles, one M1 Carbine, one cal. 22 rifle and two handguns. Twenty improvised landmines and 13 super dyne explosive primers were also discovered.

Other items found at the Busdi NPA camp arms cache include explosives and explosive ingredients such as 160 meters of time fuse, three pieces of PVC pipes, and 37 meters of extension wire. (BUKIDNON NEWS)
