Suspected NPA rebels burn 6 trucks in Quezon Bukidnon
News report from ABS-CBN; written by Trini Velasco (original text can be found HERE) — Suspected members of the New People’s Army reportedly burned down six trucks late Saturday evening in Barangay Puntian in Quezon, Bukidnon.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Jose Maria Cuerpo, commanding officer of the 8th Infantry Battalion, several armed men on board five vans stopped the trucks at around 10 p.m. last night and told the drivers to flee.
The unidentified armed men took the trucks several meters away from the point of interception and then burned the vehicles.
