Son of ex Malaybalay Vice Mayor and BPH nurse among arrested in drug bust
The son of a former vice mayor of Malaybalay City and a nurse working at the Bukidnon Provincial Hospital were among those arrested in a Thursday drug bust.
According to published news reports, the buy bust operation was held at a lodge along Propia Street, Malaybalay and allegedly yielded a total of Php 135,000 worth of illegal drugs.
The son of former Malaybalay Vice Mayor Victor Aldeguer, Lorenzo Victor Aldeguer, was among those arrested. Aside from Aldeguer, 2nd Lt. Arthur Rey Arango assigned at the 7th Infantry Division, Geoff Augustus Silabay, Juliet Cruspero, Maria Lourdes
Aside from Aldeguer, 2nd Lt. Arthur Rey Arango assigned at the 7th Infantry Division, Geoff Augustus Silabay, Juliet Cruspero, Maria Lourdes Velencia, Roger Hernandez and Shinray Dumaguit were also nabbed.
Silabay is a nurse working at the Bukidnon Provincial Hospital.
According to the reports, authorities have identified Silabay as allegedly running a drug den.
A total of 5 sachets of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia and cellphones were seized from the suspects.
The suspects will be temporarily detained in Cagayan de Oro.
