Malaybalay Mayor Flores receives first COVID-19 vaccination shot

Malaybalay City Mayor Florencio Flores, Jr. received his first COVID-19 jab during the launch of the second wave of the mass vaccination rollout for senior citizens.

The move was said to be Flores’ effort to lead by example and urge public confidence on the COVID-19 vaccine.

The second rollout set on May 3, 2021 was granted by the Department of Health (DOH) Region 10 after the City has achieved 95 percent inoculation of medical frontliners tagged as the first priority A1.
