Kitaotao Bukidnon records another COVID-19 case, LGU work suspended
The Municipality of Kitaotao has recorded its 4th confirmed positive case of COVID-19.
According to a health bulletin from the Kitaotao local government unit, the patient is a 43 year old female who is considered an authorized person outside residence (APOR). The patient tested positive for the RT-PCR or swab test.
The patient, who is currently on strict isolation at the Bukidnon Provincial Medical Center in Malaybalay City, has no known travel history outside of the province.
As of this writing, contact tracing, active and passive syndromic surveillance are being conducted.
Meanwhile, work at the Kitaotao municipal government offices has been suspended from September 7 to 9, 2020. This, to allow disinfection measures. Work shall resume on September 10.
