CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – In celebration of the 111th Independence Day: Kagitingan, Kagalingan at Kasipagan, Tugon sa Pag-unlad ng Kabuhayan, there will be a Kalayaan Job and Livelihood Fair 2009 event on June 11 to 12, 2009. The event will be held at 8 am up to 5 pm at the Capitol Grounds in Cagayan de Oro City (along Velez Street).

There will also be free medical services, housing fair business counseling, basic literacy education, social services, green technology/backyard livelihood technology demonstration, online registration for overseas and local jobs, employment facilitation for local companies and licensing and passporting related services.

The public, including those interested from the Province of Bukidnon, are invited to join the 2-day event. (With a press release from the Department of Labor and Employment – Region X)
