Is Bukidnon following this DILG memorandum?

BUKIDNON NEWS | BUKIDNON UPDATES | BUKIDNON ONLINE | BUKIDNON GOVERNMENT – On September 23, 2010, the Department of Interior and Local Government, led by Sec. Jesse Robredo, released Memorandum Circular No. 2010 – 101 which bans the names or initials and/or images or pictures of government officials in billboards and signages of government programs, projects and properties.

Now the big question is — do all Bukidnon government entities follow this DILG Memorandum? Or are there still pictures, names or initials of government officials on government projects and properties?

Also, is the provincial office of the DILG conducting proper monitoring?

The memorandum circular’s purpose is to stop the abuse and misuse by some public officials. It also reiterates the fact that the abuse takes the credit away from the taxpayers who are the ones paying for such projects and programs in the first place!
