Impasugong has first virus case, patient broke quarantine
The local government of Impasugong has confirmed their first local case of COVID-19 or corona virus disease. In an official statement released August 31, 2020, Impasugong Bukidnon Mayor Anthony Uy confirmed that a 34 year old male has tested positive for the deadly disease.
The patient, a resident of Purok 2, Sitio San Juan, La Fortuna, Impasugong, has been identified as a worker of a business establishment located in Purok 1, Capitan Bayong. La Fortuna has since been placed under localized lockdown.
The patient, who accordingly remains asymptomatic, “interrupted” his home quarantine by attending a religious activity in a local church.
