Impasugong Bukidnon eyed for farm tourism
It’s been there for decades but thankfully, no less than the Department of Tourism – Region X office has finally now declared it as a place with good potential for farm tourism.
The regional tourism office made a flower farm in Intavas, Impasugong, Bukidnon an example of what they said had potential for farm tourism.
“Coming soon!,” declared the DOT on their Facebook page.
It’s a pretty exciting statement especially when you see photos like these:
“Impasugong is a beautiful place and it truly has so much potential,” said Atty. John Flores, who filed his candidacy for Bukidnon District 2 Congressman. Flores, the son of incumbent Rep. Florencio “Doc Boy” Flores, Jr., is aiming to replace his father. He is running under President Rodrigo Duterte’s party, PDP Laban.
“There should be a program in place to help develop Impasugong and the many farms there,” Flores stressed.
The weather in Intavas (which is also the popular starting point for Mt. Kitanglad climbers) is perfect for growing orchids, poinsettias
By the way, Impasugong is the tribal capital of Bukidnon. It is also called the Home of the Cowboys.
