Flores, Roque lead Bukidnon District 2 Nacionalista Party oathtaking
Incumbent Bukidnon congressmen Atty. John Flores of the Second District and Oneil Roque of the Fourth District led the oathtaking ceremony of the new official members of the Nacionalista Party from Bukidnon District 2.
The ceremony was held September 30, 2021 in Malaybalay City.
Bukidnon Second District is composed of the City of Malaybalay and the municipalities of Impasugong, Cabanglasan, Lantapan and San Fernando.
Flores, who ran under the PDP Laban banner in 2019, has shifted allegiance to the Villar-led Nacionalista Party, the oldest political party in the Philippines. Nacionalista Party is allied with Hugpong ng Pagbabago, formed by Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte.
As of this writing, both congressmen, along with Flores’ dad, incumbent Malaybalay City Mayor Florencio Flores, Jr., who also happens to be an NP member, haven’t filed their certificates of candidacy. BukidnonOnline.com was told that they may file come October 4, 2021.
