‘CHAMP’ being promoted in line with upcoming SK, brgy elections
BUKIDNON NEWS | BUKIDNON ONLINE | ELECTIONS IN BUKIDNON – The Sangguniang Kabataan and Barangay Elections will take place on October 25, 2010 and in line with this, the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) is currently promoting “CHAMP” or clean, honest, accurate, meaningful and peaceful elections through proper information dissemination.
PPCRV is conducting said information dissemination through print and broadcast. They encourage people to vote and exercise their right to suffrage. They also spell out the qualities that voters should look for in candidates.
And because the October 25, 2010 elections, unlike the May 10, 2010 elections, will be conducted manually, the PPCRV also briefs people on the election process.
The PPCRV provincial chairman is Fr. Vir Delfin.
Now how I wish the PPCRV can also tap new media or bloggers. Hmm.
