BUKIDNON | BUKIDNON NEWS | VALENCIA BUKIDNON – A barangay captain in Valencia City, Bukidnon was recently killed by several armed men and now, the Valencia City Government, led by City Mayor Leandro Catarata, has offered a Php 50,000 cash reward to anyone who can give any leads or helpful information.

Barangay captain Arsenio Ferrera was killed last November 19, 2011.

According to a police report, Ferrera suffered multiple gunshot wounds. The suspects, who reportedly numbered to about 8, shot the 66 year old Ferrera with .45 caliber and 9mm guns.

The suspects reportedly used a multicab with plate number KED 251.

The vehicle was then seen abandoned in Barangay Mabuhay.

The police report said that investigations are still ongoing.
