Valencia barangay captain killed, LGU offers cash reward
BUKIDNON | BUKIDNON NEWS | VALENCIA BUKIDNON – A barangay captain in Valencia City, Bukidnon was recently killed by several armed men and now, the Valencia City Government, led by City Mayor Leandro Catarata, has offered a Php 50,000 cash reward to anyone who can give any leads or helpful information.
Barangay captain Arsenio Ferrera was killed last November 19, 2011.
According to a police report, Ferrera suffered multiple gunshot wounds. The suspects, who reportedly numbered to about 8, shot the 66 year old Ferrera with .45 caliber and 9mm guns.
