SPED Fun Run Pulagoy Malaybalay a success
MALAYBALAY NEWS – The Malaybalay City Special Education Teachers Association recently organized a successful fun run event dubbed “Pulagoy 2 – a 5 KM Fun Run For SPED.” The said Malaybalay Bukidnon fun run was held last September 1, 2012.
According to Malaybalay SPED teacher Daylin Galo-Hortilano, SPED students, teachers and other non-professional running enthusiasts participated in the 5km fun run around Malaybalay City. Meanwhile, around 70 professional runners joined a separate fun run that started from Kisolon, Sumilao down to Malaybalay City.
Bukidnon Second District Congressman Florencio T. Flores, Jr., one of the sponsors of the Bukidnon fun run event, told Bukidnon Online that supporting various activities that can benefit the special education community is vital.
“Children with disabilities and impairment need proper attention for their need to cope with life,” Congressman Flores told BukidnonOnline.com
