SME Negosyo Caravan to kick off at Valencia City, Bukidnon
BUKIDNON NEWS | BUKIDNON UPDATES | BUSINESS – Bukidnon is set to hold the first part of a nationwide SME Negosyo Caravan organized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) on April 27 to 29 at Taipan Restaurant in the City of Valencia.
The caravan is part of the DTI Work on Wheels (WOW) Project, whose objectives are to increase awareness and improve access of SMEs to government and private sector services particularly to areas where the provision of business development services (BDS) may be limited.
Resource speakers from these institutions who are experts in their respective fields will be brought to the province to provide business counseling and relevant information on the following areas and topics:
ACCESS TO MARKET: Franchising, Choosing the Right Market, Product Development, Design Trends, Putting your Business on-line (e-Marketing), Free Trade Agreements (AFTA, ASEAN China FTA, ASEAN Korea FTA, ASEAN Australia-New Zealand FTA, ASEAN JEPA), and Taking Advantage of FTA PRODUCTIVITY & EFFICIENCY: Packaging and Labeling, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Food Safety.
BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT: Entrepreneurial Mindset, Spotting Business Opportunities, and Marketing the Business.
MSME information materials published by the DTI-Bureau of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development (DTI-BMSMED) and other agencies will also be provided to the participants during the event.
