Senator Juan Miguel “Migz” Zubiri said that he has delegated his brother, incumbent Bukidnon 3rd District Congressman Manuel Zubiri, to oversee his projects in the Province of Bukidnon.

In an impromptu interview with local media practitioners, the Senate Majority Floor Leader said that he is thankful his brother agreed to be in charge.

Zubiri explained that because almost 30% of his budget goes to project initiatives in Bukidnon, he asked his brother, Cong. Manoy Zubiri, to make sure the various infrastructure programs are implemented properly.

Senator Migs Zubiri also answered questions about his initiatives to help people who have lost their jobs amid the pandemic, what he hopes President Rodrigo Duterte discusses during his 2020 State of the Nation Address and if he is still confident in Health Secretary Francisco Duque’s performance.

Zubiri was in Malaybalay City to attend the formal turnover of a multi-purpose building for the Malaybalay City Government Employees Association and a Php 4.5 Million covered court for Purok 5, Barangay 9.

Congressman Manoy Zubiri, Malaybalay City Vice Mayor Warren Pabillaran and Barangay 9 officials were also in attendance.

Talks are ripe that Congressman Manoy Zubiri will gun for the gubernatorial seat in the coming 2022 elections.
