Senate President Migz Zubiri shares good news: Malaybalay Bukidnon to have additional trial court
Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri shared that Malaybalay City, Bukidnon is among the areas that will soon have additional regional and municipal trial courts. In a Facebook post Monday, Zubiri said that the Senate approved 16 bills creating the RTCs and MTCs. Senator Francis Tolentino sponsored the bills.
Aside from Malaybalay City, Bukidnon, the areas that will soon have additional courts include Cabagan, Isabela; San Jose & Basilisa, Dinagat Islands; Baybay, Leyte; Calauag, Quezon; Pagadian, Zamboanga del Sur; Antipolo, Rizal; Samal & Panabo, Davao del Norte; Rosario & San Juan, Batangas; City of Navotas; San Carlos, Pangasinan; City of San Juan; Gingoog, Misamis Oriental; Ormoc, Leyte; Bacolod, Negros Occidental and Tubod, Lanao del Norte.
“Sa mga panukalang ito, umaasa tayo sa mas mabilis at mas epektibong paghahatid ng hustisya sa ating mga mamamayan, saan mang bahagi ng bansa,” Zubiri said.
The main advantage of creating additional trial courts in Bukidnon is to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the judicial system in the province. By increasing the number of courts, cases can be processed more quickly, reducing the backlog and ensuring timely resolution of disputes. This is particularly important in areas with growing populations and increasing caseloads.
