BUKIDNON NEWS | MALAYBALAY CITY NEWS – A specialty medical mission was held last Friday, December 17, 2010 at the Managok Covered Court, Barangay Managok, Malaybalay City for the benefit of families living at the Basakan District. The said medical mission was sponsored by neophyte Malaybalay City Councilor Atty. Mya Rosos.

The following doctors were on hand to address the needs of those who went to the Malaybalay medical mission: Dr. Apollo Roderick Tenorio (internal medicine); Dr. Pette Generalao (General Surgeon); Dr. Bouye Joseph Letigio (Ears, Nose, Throat); Dr. Brenda Catalon (Pediatrician); Dr. Heherson Cui (orthopedic); Dr. Aileen Letigio (pediatrician); Dr. Jose Catalon (ophthalmology); Dr. Sheila Gay Bragat (OB gyne); Dr. Dennis Sangalang (City Health); Dr. Marcille Orong (City Health).

Rosos told Bukidnon Online that the event saw roughly 700 patients from all over the basakan district. Rosos also said that due to the overwhelming number of people, those who came after 11 AM were not checked by the specialists anymore because of lack of time. “However, we made sure that everyone who came was given medicines and vitamins,” she said.
