There’s a new radio station in Bukidnon. This Bukidnon website learned this from Jonas Bustamante, who apparently is the station manager of new Bukidnon radio station DXJR Radyo Higala 1575 khz.

According to the station profile of this Bukidnon radio station, the general manager is Javi Paras (not sure how he’s related to incumbent Bukidnon First District Congressman Jess Paras) and that the station is operating from Damilag, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon.

First Broadcast was allegedly last November 8, 2011. Radyo Higala DXJR is operating on 10,000 kilowatts. Apart from Bukidnon, it reportedly also reaches Misamis Oriental, Cagayan de Oro, Bohol, Cebu and Camiguin.

DXJR 1575 khz Radyo Higala will use the AM radio format.
