Bukidnon News – A few weeks ago, we first broke the exclusive news that Miss Universe 2013 3rd runner-up and Binibining Pilipinas Universe 2013 Ariella “Ara” Arida was set to visit the Province of Bukidnon for a private vacation. Bukidnon was one of the areas that she visited during her 5-day stay in Northern Mindanao. And Bukidnon Online was with her all throughout her stay. Incidentally, it was also her very first time to set foot in Mindanao 🙂

In Bukidnon, we visited Dahilayan Adventure Park, Dahilayan Forest Park and Cozy Cabin — all located at Barangay Dahilayan, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon.

At Dahilayan Adventure Park, we were treated to a sumptuous lunch at Pine Grove restaurant. Most recommended: the famous double cheeseburger!

After resting, the group then tried some of the extreme adventure rides. First stop: the 840 meter zipline! Ara conquered it!

But we were pretty impressed when she tried the Dropzone ride! And get this – she even conquered it TWICE! Check out her own Instagram video below:

We also rode the luge at Forest Park! It’s definitely one of those rides that you MUST, MUST, MUST try! Absolute fun!

We also chanced upon former Bukidnon First District Congressman Jess Paras at Forest Park. Of course, we couldn’t let the opportunity pass by without a photo 🙂

We capped the long day with the yummiest cookies and cupcakes at Cozy Cabin. It’s located a few meters away from Dahilayan Adventure Park. If you’re still on your way to the park, you’ll find Cozy Cabin on your left just a few meters away from the main entrance of the park. We tried their smores cupcakes and they were AMAZING!

We were also served really special coffee that day — CIVET COFFEE or Kopi Luwak! It’s the world’s most expensive coffee and it’s available in Bukidnon! Enjoy a cup at Cozy Cabin – you won’t regret it. It’s the smoothest tasting coffee we’ve ever tried.

Ara truly enjoyed her amazing albeit short Bukidnon visit. She has vowed to come back real soon, though!
