Migz Zubiri: all incumbent Bukidnon mayors, vice mayors et al throw support for BBM, Sara
Senate Majority Floor Leader and independent re-electionist Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri announced that all incumbent Bukidnon mayors, vice mayors and other officials have officially thrown their support for the UniTeam Party’s bets, Presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos and Vice Presidential candidate Sara Duterte.
Migz Zubiri announced this during the recently concluded UniTeam grand rally in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon last March 31, 2022. Tens of thousands flocked to the Capitol Grounds in Bukidnon’s capital. The UniTeam grand rally drew the largest crowd so far this 2022 campaign season in Bukidnon.
“Tanan incumbent mayors, vice mayors ug officials sa tibuok Probinsiya sa Bukidnon ania karon gasuporta sa atong pinalangga nga President BBM,” Zubiri announced.
Zubiri also said that it was his first time to witness such a huge crowd at the Capitol Grounds “to support one person.”
“Daghan nagpalangga sa atong Presidente. Wala, uli na ta, daog na,” he said.
Before the rally, Marcos also met with supporters and a few local officials via a luncheon in Valencia City. A caravan, with a stop at the UniTeam Valencia HQ, was also conducted.
Aside from Migz Zubiri, other senatorial candidates were present namely Sherwin Gatchalian, Jinggoy Estrada and Herbert Bautista. During the luncheon, senatorial candidates Atty. Harry Roque and Mark Villar were present. The two, however, no longer joined the grand rally in Malaybalay. VP candidate Sara Duterte was a no-show but she was represented by Senator Ronald Dela Rosa. The Presidential daughter was reportedly in Bataan. Marcos later said that they wanted to cover as many areas as possible especially now that the campaign season is on its final stretch.
