Bukidnon guv Zubiri endorses Villanueva; re-electionist Senator thanks Zubiri for advice, wisdom

Re-electionist Senator Joel Villanueva recently visited the Province of Bukidnon to meet with Bukidnon Governor Jose Ma. Zubiri, Jr.

Villanueva visited Zubiri, who is gunning for the Bukidnon 3rd District congressional seat, at the latter’s farm in Maramag, Bukidnon. In a photo, Zubiri can be seen raising Villanueva’s hand.

“Karangalan po natin ang bawat oportunidad na makasama at maka fellowship ang nag-iisang Tito Gob Joe Zubiri, the OG! Grateful for the advise and the wisdom you shared, Tito. The Province of Bukidnon is definitely blessed! God bless you more!,” Villanueva said in a Facebook post.


Villanueva is part of “The Seatmates,” a group of 4 senatorial candidates. Zubiri’s son, re-electionist Senator Juan Miguel “Migz” Zubiri is part of the group. Other members of “The Seatmates” include comebacking Senator JV Ejercito and re-electionist Win Gatchalian.

Among the bills authored by Villanueva that have been passed include the Free Tuition Law, the First Time Jobseekers Law, the Tulong Trabaho Law, Doktor Para Sa Bayan Law and the Work From Home or Telecommuting Law.
