Maramag fire destroys about Php 2.5 Million worth of properties
BUKIDNON NEWS – Fire broke out at the old Maramag public market last May 22, 2012 and damaged an estimated Php 2.5 Million worth of properties.
According to the spot report produced by the Bukidnon Bureau of Fire Protection, the fire started at around 6:50 PM at one of the stalls at the old Maramag agro-site public market.
About 65 stalls were affected by the fire, which reportedly started from a beauty parlor.
The old Maramag public market is located several meters away from the new one.
Among the stalls that got burned included commercial establishments.
No word yet if cases will be filed or if the local Maramag government has plans of relocating the affected vendors.
