Manolo Fortich speed limits now strictly being enforced – see penalties here
The Local Government of Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon has now started to strictly implement the speed limits. This, in an effort to curb road accidents. The strict implementation of speed limits in Manolo Fortich began last October 13, 2025.
Signages depicting the speed limits have already been installed along major roads.
SPEED LIMITS:
Entry at Tankulan Proper (East to West)
– 30/20 km/h (30 km/h for light vehicles, 20 km/h for trucks/buses)
Maximum speed on roads without houses
(e.g., Fabia to Packhouse Del Monte, Phillips boundary to Mampayag boundary)
– 80/70 km/h (80 km/h for light vehicles, 70 km/h for trucks/buses)

From Alae to Bliss, Lingion Highway
– 60/50 km/h (60 km/h for light vehicles, 50 km/h for trucks/buses)
Churches, schools, pedestrian crossings, junctions in Poblacion, market area
– 30/20 km/h (30 km/h for light vehicles, 20 km/h for trucks/buses)
Accident-prone areas, curves or steep roads, in front of the Municipal Hall
– 40/30 km/h (40 km/h for light vehicles, 30 km/h for trucks/buses)
This implementation is in accordance with Ordinance No. 2012-847 or the Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon Municipal Traffic Code.
Penalties for violators:
1st Offense: Php 1,500.00
2nd Offense: Php 2,000.00
3rd Offense: Php 2,500.00
Based on data from the LGU, road accidents in Manolo Fortich have increased:
- January–October 8, 2024: 67 cases
- January–October 8, 2025: 77 cases
