Very good news for those involved in the swine and poultry industries! Pilmico Foods Corporation, the food subsidiary of Aboitiz Equity Ventures, Inc. and one of the largest flour milling companies in the country, will hold the “Mahalin Pagkaing Atin” event – Bukidnon Leg on June 28, 2016, 8 AM at TS Mix – SMS Gymnasium, Hagkol, Valencia City.

The event is open to all and registration is FREE. Celebrity Chef Boy Logro, host of “Idol Sa Kusina” and “Kusina Master” and “Mahalin Pagkaing Atin” ambassador, will be at the event.

“Mahalin Pagkaing Atin” aims to boost sustainable entrepreneurship through the promotion of locally grown produce and instill a “pride of product, pride of place” mindset for both the local consumers as well as the farmers. This means the possibility of maximizing profit without the need for middlemen.

During the event, Pilmico will donate 30 piglets, 10 sets of egg machines as well as 2 bakery starter kits to deserving beneficiaries.

There will be seminars throughout the day including those on animal husbandry and nutrition. There will also be booths where attendees can learn more about branding, packaging and loan opportunities while Chef Boy Logro will showcase his cooking skills by teaching attendees on how to whip up delicious meals featuring pork meat, chicken and eggs.
