Lantapan Bukidnon raid yields firearms, ammunition
A report from the Philippine News Agency published by The Standard says that a raid conducted by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Thursday in Lantapan, Bukidnon yielded several firearms as well as ammunition.
Elements of the CIDG, led by P/Insp. Richard Salcedo, raided the house of 49 year old suspect Eric R. Devibar of Balila, Lantapan, Bukidnon.
Recovered from the suspect’s house were 6 firearms of varied calibers, an M14 assault rifle, Thompson sub-machine gun M-1, two units caliber .45 pistols, a .357 revolver and a Magnum 22 revolver. The authorities also recovered various ammo.

Suspect Devibar was then brought to the CIDG station in Bukidnon for the filing of charges involving violation of Republic Act No. 10591 or illegal possession of firearms.
