Kaamulan Park and Lake Apo part of Department of Tourism’s eco-tourism sites in Northern Mindanao

BUKIDNON NEWS | BUKIDNON ONLINE | BUKIDNON BLOG – Two famous Bukidnon tourist spots have been included in the Department of Tourism Region 10 list for adventure and eco-tourism destinations in Northern Mindanao.

DOT Regional Marketing and Promotions Officer Decius Esmedalla has cited the 25-hectare Lake Apo, located at Guinoroyan, Valencia City, as one of the emerging attractions in the region. The tourism official said that tourists will most likely enjoy cruising around Lake Apo on bamboo rafts.

Esmedalla also said that the Kaamulan Park, found in Malaybalay City (capital of Bukidnon), can also be a tourist magnet. Kaamulan Park is a great place where you can feel Bukidnon’s signature chilly weather, where you can go horseback riding or just enjoy being in the midst of endemic plants and pine trees.
