BUKIDNON ONLINE | BUKIDNON NEWS | KAAMULAN FESTIVAL 2011 – The Municipality of Lantapan was the biggest winner in the recently concluded Kaamulan Ethnic Street Dancing Competition, held last March 5, 2011 in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon. Lantapan’s contingent was adjudged the Best in Choreography, Best in Music and its float was also given the top prize.

For the ground presentation category, third place went to the Municipality of Libona while the second place went to the Municipality of Manolo Fortich. The top plum went to Malaybalay City.

Apart from bagging the ground presentation top prize, Malaybalay City also actually won the Best in Street Theater award.

Valencia City, the only other city in the Province of Bukidnon, was declared this year’s Customers’ Choice awardee.

A total of 8 contingents participated in this year’s Ethnic Street Dancing Competition (or what the new Gov. Alex Calingasan administration wants to call it – Kaamulan street theatre).
