Kaamulan Festival 2010 updates; P4 Million allotted for Kaamulan 2010 festivities
BUKIDNON NEWS | BUKIDNON UPDATES | KAAMULAN FESTIVAL 2010 | KAAMULAN 2010 – A total of P4 million has reportedly been allotted for the Kaamulan Festival 2010 celebration.
Bukidnon Online learned this from Kaamulan Festival overall in charge and tourism officer May Flor Beltran-Intong today. The bulk of the budget, she said, will be taken from the tourism project and support services item of the provincial government’s coffers.

Intong also shared that Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri has plans of bringing over multi-awarded artist Rico Blanco to perform on March 6, the very same day of the much-anticipated Kaamulan Ethnic Streetdancing Competition.
See a video of Rico’s hit song “Yugto” below.
San Miguel Beer Brewery Inc, one of the major sponsors of Kaamulan Festival in Bukidnon, will also bring a Manila-based band on March 7, 2010.
No word yet as to who the guest speaker during the foundation day (March 10) will be but Bukidnon Online bets that Gibo Teodoro and the rest of the admin party will come. Incumbent Bukidnon Gov. Jose Zubiri, Jr. is a LAKAS-CMD-KAMPI party member.
The grand opening of Kaamulan 2010 will be on February 26, 2010.
I passed through Capitol Grounds earlier today and saw that several participants of the food fest have begun constructing their booths. Concessionaires will need to finish their booths at least by February 18, when the soft opening of the food fest, agri fair, garden show, bazaar and livestock show will take place.
