Health worker is first positive case in Dangcagan
A health worker has become the first positive corona virus case in the Municipality of Dangcagan, Bukidnon.
According to a statement released by Dangcagan Mayor Fruto Dandasan, Jr., a 23-year old female from Kianggat, a health worker who reports at a hospital, is the first positive case in the municipality.
Accordingly, she has no travel history, no travel exposure and that she was in contact with a COVID-19 positive patient in Don Carlos, Bukidnon.
Swab test results released on September 7, 2020 indicated that she is positive.
According to the mayor’s statement, this is Dangcagan’s first local transmission case.
Contact tracing and disinfection measures are underway. Puroks 2 and 3 in Kianggat are also placed under localized lockdown.
