Guidelines on class suspensions, face-to-face classes released
According to Executive Secretary Ralph Recto, Philippine President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. has signed Executive Order No. 130 detailing clearer guidelines on class suspensions and resumption of face-to-face classes.
The EO, signed last October 28, 2026, gives local government units and schools more power and discretion on when to suspend classes, based on circumstances and with the students’ safety in mind.
