Mark your calendars! March 8, 2016 will be a special day for all the women in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.
March 8 is International Women’s Day and Malaybalay Councilor Mya Tenorio has cooked up a project whereby the ladies of the city can avail of discounts and promos on various products, food and services and, at the same time, the business owners can show their appreciation for female patrons by offering such promos.
Tenorio told Bukidnon Online that this project is actually part of an ordinance currently being drafted which aims to require a minimum of 10% discount for women every March 8.
Some of the really great discounts on products and services:
Shell (Sumpong) – Php 2 off per liter and 5% off on lubricants
Petron (Landing) – Php 1 off per liter
Caltex – Php 5 off per liter
Bethel Baptist Hospital – 30% off ultrasound
All lawyers – FREE legal consultation and 50% off notarial services
Waterpool Swimming Pools – 50% off
Ms. Gie Beauty Salon and Spa – 20% off
