FIBECO postpones electricity bill due dates

First Bukidnon Electric Cooperative (FIBECO) has issued a memorandum declaring the postponement or deferment of obligations and power bill dues.

Issued on March 19, 2020, FIBECO’s Memorandum Order Number 2020-024 series of 2020 announces that electricity consumers are now given a 30-day extension period for payment of power bills dating March 15 to April 14, 2020.

This means that if your power bill was and is due on those covered dates, you are given until May 14, 2020 to pay.

FIBECO will also exercise a “No Disconnection” policy for non-payment of power bills until the May 14, 2020 extension date.

This move by FIBECO is in line with the Philippine government’s declaration of a state of calamity due to the threat of the novel Coronavirus Disease 2019 or COVID-19.

FIBECO serves 12 Bukidnon municipalities and 1 city in the southern part of Bukidnon.
