DOT to put up tourist rest area in Manolo Fortich
Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia-Frasco led the groundbreaking ceremony of the Tourist Service Rest Area in Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon last October 7, 2022. The tourist rest area, which will be established in partnership with the local government unit of Manolo Fortich and with the TIEZA – Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority, will cater to travelers in need of clean restrooms and a place to rest in between their journeys.
The tourist rest area will also adopt the use of local materials and design elements and will also be equipped with an information center, and pasalubong center that will showcase a variety of Philippine-made products.
The Manolo Fortich tourist rest area is among the 6 centers set to be established across Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
