Can the new Bukidnon police chief survive for the next 6 months?
BUKIDNON NEWS | BUKIDNON | BUKIDNON ONLINE – As previously reported here on BukidnonOnline.com, the Province of Bukidnon has a new police director in the person of Senior Supt. Rustom Duran. Duran, a native of Malaybalay City, the capital of Bukidnon, used to be assigned at the Regional Police Community Relations Division. Senior Supt. Rustom Duran was also a former provincial police chief of Camiguin Island.
Now the big question is…can the new Bukidnon police director do his job in the next 6 months? Will he survive for the next 6 months? Or will things just get worse here in the Province of Bukidnon?
BukidnonOnline.com can’t help but ask this when we found out that the new Provincial Police Director was reportedly given 6 months to prove his worth.
Bukidnon Vice Governor Jose Ma. Zubiri, Jr. reportedly asked Duran to do his best in 6 months’ time and that he had 6 months to catch the “big fish.”
Duran was told to conduct operations against operators of video karera and that he must also look into the alleged illegal activities of a certain gambling lord called “Bayan.” This Bayan fellow allegedly operates illegal gambling activities in Valencia, Malaybalay and other areas in Bukidnon.
So what we’re curious now is…can Duran succeed in proving his worth in 6 months’ time?
