Bukidnon government employees to gather today in support of resigned senator Zubiri
Thousands of Bukidnon officials and government employees are currently at the Kaamulan Open Theater in Malaybalay City today in an effort to show support for resigned Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri. The Senator from Bukidnon, who also served three consecutive terms as Congressman representing the 3rd District of the Province of Bukidnon, resigned yesterday amid claims of alleged poll fraud. Sources tell BukidnonOnline.com that the rally cum show of support for the Senator from Bukidnon was supposed to happen yesterday but was postponed due to the bad weather.
Most of the government employees wore black shirts and black arm bands to show support for Zubiri.
Sources also tell BukidnonOnline.com that the nurses and other medical practitioners in Kibawe, Manolo Fortich and at the Provincial Hospital in Malaybalay City wore black arm bands since yesterday.
