Bukidnon folks nabbed for selling fake gold bars
Authorities recently nabbed 3 Bukidnon residents for allegedly selling fake gold bars.
Police arrested Mark Gayrana, 33, and Alfonso Docenos, 32, both of Malaybalay City, and Bae Maria Sitawan, 37, of Talakag during an entrapment operation at a beach resort in Barangay Estaca, Compostela, Cebu.
Manila councilor Roderick Valbuena and Japanese national Isao Aoyama filed a complaint and such were the basis for the arrest.
The three suspects were allegedly selling 12 pieces of fake gold bars and 3 pieces of golden Buddha statues.
Retrieved from the suspects were some fake gold bars, cellphone and cash.
