BIR Bukidnon to hold tax drive at Gaisano Malaybalay on April 15, 2011
Bukidnon Online paid the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) revenue district office today and found out that on Saturday, April 9, 2011, BIR Bukidnon will be open from 8am to 5pm to extend service to the public. This Saturday schedule is, of course, on top of the Monday to Friday usual office hours.
Moreover, BIR Bukidnon will also accommodate taxpayers who want to beat the April 15, 2011 deadline at both the revenue district office along Fortich Street (right across the Malaybalay City Plaza Rizal) and at Gaisano Mall Malaybalay.
This year, BIR aims to raise at least P940 billion. Reports say that BIR raised more than P822 billion last year which was P72 billion higher than the actual collection of P750 billion the previous year with the second semester of 2010 registering a collection growth of about 12 percent.
Don’t forget to file and pay your taxes on or before the April 15, 2011 deadline!
